Concealed security camera enables covert surveillance of people, activities

Reconyx’s SC950 Security Camera is designed especially for covert surveillance of people and activities, says the manufacturer. The camera's small size makes it easy to conceal; its simple set-up makes it quick to deploy in the field.

According to the company, the SC950 Security Camera enables "no glow" covert surveillance of people and activities by recording color images by day, and monochrome by night. A loop recording feature overwrites oldest images for continuous operation; dual scheduling allows camera operation by time of day and day of week. The SC950's extended battery life captures up to 40,000 images. The camera includes rhe MapView Security Software for Windows.

The company notes that the SC950 will not effectively capture license plates; for that application, use Reconyx’s SM750 License Plate Camera.
