1. Eligibility. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. No payment, proof of purchase, or entry fee is required. Subject to the additional limitations below, participants must be 18 years or older the first day of each Contest Period, as indicated in Item #2 (below) are eligible to enter each Cabling Jeopardy contest (the "Contest"). Employees of Cabling Installation & Maintenance's owner PennWell Corporation ("PennWell"), and of the Sponsor of each Contest (as indicated on the Contest page), and the employees of each of their respective affiliated companies, subsidiaries, advertising or promotional agencies, and other agents, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with, any such employees, are not eligible to enter or win. For purposes of this Contest, "immediate family members" shall include a participant's spouse, children, siblings, parents, grandparents and grandchildren. No more than one (1) entry per qualified person for each Contest.
2. How to Enter. From time to time, Cabling Installation & Maintenance will post a Contest on Cabling Installation & Maintenance website at http://cim.pennnet.com (Òthe Cabling Installation & Maintenance Site"). Each Contest will begin on the date specified on each Contest page and will end at 11:59 p.m. (Central Time) on the date specified on the Contest page (the "Contest Period"). To enter, you must answer the series of Contest questions posted on the Cabling Installation & Maintenance Site and submit your answers and contact information electronically, as indicated on the Cabling Installation & Maintenance Site.
3. Operation of Contest. Entries for each Contest must be received by Cabling Installation & Maintenance no later than the end of the Contest Period. Cabling Installation & Maintenance reserves the right to disqualify multiple entries and entries submitted by means of software-generated or other automated processes. Cabling Installation & Maintenance assumes no responsibility for lost, misdirected, late, incomplete, or illegible entries or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or Cabling Installation & Maintenance. In the event of a dispute, all online entries shall be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the ISP account from which they were sent. For the purposes of these Official Rules, the term "owner of the ISP account" shall mean the natural person assigned to such ISP account by the Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning IP addresses for such account. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted or the owner of an ISP account shall be determined by Cabling Installation & Maintenance in its sole discretion, and Cabling Installation & Maintenance reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of any Contest.
4. Award of Prizes; Odds. A single winner will be randomly selected from the correct entries. Such winner will receive the prize specified on the Contest page for that particular Contest. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received and the number of eligible correct entries received.
5. Disclosure. Entry in a Contest constitutes permission and the granting to Cabling Installation & Maintenance and its affiliates a perpetual, irrevocable, sublicenseable right and license, without compensation to the participant, to disclose any provided information, including, but not limited to, the participant's answers in full or in part as well as the participant's name, biographical information and likeness, in an effort to comply with legally required disclosure, and/or for promotional and commercial purposes, including, but not limited to in any print or electronic format or other manner worldwide, except where prohibited by law.
6. Winning Entrant. The winner of a prize will be notified by e-mail within one (1) week of the end of the Contest Period. Winners may waive their right to receive prizes. Prizes are nonassignable and nontransferable. No substitutions are allowed, except that each prize is subject to availability, and Cabling Installation & Maintenance and the Contest Sponsor reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
7. Taxes and Charges. The winner of a prize is solely responsible for payment of any taxes (whether local, state, federal) on the prize. The prize will be delivered to the address specified by the winner by means determined by Cabling Installation & Maintenance in its sole discretion. Winners may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release (except where prohibited by law) which must be returned within ten (10) days of postmark. Failure to sign and return the affidavit and/or release within such period, or to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may result in a winner's disqualification and the forfeiture of such winner's prize.
8. Disclaimers. By entering a Contest, participants acknowledge and agree that Cabling Installation & Maintenance, the Sponsor, and all of their respective affiliates and advertising, production, and promotional agencies, and the owners, officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each (collectively, the "Contest Providers") will have no responsibility or liability for any damages, losses, or injuries of any kind resulting from the acceptance, possession, use and/or misuses of any prize, participation in a Contest, tampering or other unauthorized human or technical intervention, typographical, printing, mailing, or distribution errors, or any malfunctions of any telephone or computer network, computer Internet system, web site, computer dialing mechanism, computer equipment, software, or any combination thereof, or for any entries that are late (including delayed data transmissions), garbled, incomplete, misdirected, lost, forged, illegible, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, whether or not such losses or injuries are caused by negligent acts or omissions of the Contest Providers or any of them. Cabling Installation & Maintenance, PENNWELL, AND THEIR AGENCIES AND AGENTS EXPRESSLY EXCLUDE ALL REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO ANY PRIZE AWARDED IN CONNECTION WITH A CONTEST, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
9. Termination. Cabling Installation & Maintenance reserves the right to terminate, suspend, or modify the operation and conduct of the Contests at any time and for any reason or no reason, all at Cabling Installation & Maintenance's sole discretion.
10. This Contest is produced by PennWell Corporation, located at 1421 South Sheridan Road, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74112. All decisions regarding the selection of winners and all other matters related to the Contest shall be final and binding in all respects.
