Oberon announces new GSA schedule

Mar 16, 2010

State College, PA -- Oberon, Inc., a provider of networking enclosure equipment, announced the publication of its GSA schedule catalog on GSA Advantage! The GSA schedule provides access to the company's full line of products, focusing primarily on its trademark wall- and ceiling-mounted wireless access point enclosures.

The Oberon GSA schedule and product catalog on GSA Advantage! will simplify selection and ordering of Oberon products for federal and other government customers and their contractors.

By providing convenient keyed access to networking equipment without breaching air handling spaces, the company says the enclosures offer an aesthetic way to simplify compliance with federal and medical market requirements and to improve network security.

The GSA schedule catalog was introduced to simplify government purchases of an expanding product offering. Several product additions have been announced in the last few months, including the introduction in late 2009 of Oberon's model 1070-00 telecommunications enclosure. The model 1070-00 is a workspace telecommunications enclosure solution for structured cabling and Fiber-to-the-Enclosure (FTTE) deployments.
