comCables names new director of sales, manufacturing

Denver, CO -- comCables announced the addition of Tom McAllister as director of sales, manufacturing.

McAllister comes to comCables from an independent low voltage solutions rep firm where he served as the president. Prior to that, he served as the regional vice president with Holocom Networks, as well as various sales management roles within the cable manufacturing industry.

McAllister has nearly 30 years of low voltage cable industry experience. He specializes in training installers on cable industry standards. McAllister is regarded as an expert in his field. He recently spoke to a group of cable contractors and technology consultants on “The Advantages of Implementing Category 6 Cable For IP-Converged Systems,” such as security cameras, data networks and phone systems.

“Tom’s sales and training expertise in this industry, and his enthusiasm for team-based success and overcoming business challenges, will serve us well at comCables,” said Greg Greenwood, President & CEO at comCables.

McAllister will serve as the director of sales, manufacturing, with the responsibility of national sales for the comCables Structured Cabling Solution. He is tasked with developing an independent rep team and creating a channel partner program. He’ll be based at the company headquarters in Denver, CO.
