The AT-HDPiX2 is a USB to HDMI adapter designed to add an HDMI port to any computer, enabling applications in both consumer and commercial environments. Consumers and custom installers can use the AT-HDPiX2 as an easy way to integrate computers into HD video systems, ensuring high quality video playback without dropping frames during high motion video such as sports, or video games.
In applications ranging from digital signage to home theater, the HDPiX2 provides a solution for viewing content from any Mac or PC (Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows7, Mac OS Snow Leopard 10.6.2, Leopard 10.5.8, Tiger 10.4.11, Mac OS X 64 Bit and additional operating systems in the works) on any HDTV at a maximum resolution of 1080p or 1600x1200.

The device features a small form factor, which allows it to hide behind computers or displays. The attached USB cable is used to transfer HD video and audio signal, ensuring high quality playback, and is also used as the unit's power supply. Audio from the computer is embedded with the video and transferred to an HDTV over a single HDMI cable.
