Map, test, and troubleshoot tool
Designed for one-person operation, Ideal Industries' PathFinder tester works with remote components, each with an electronic address that lets you map individual circuits and route to cable endpoints. A LED display shows cable and connection status, as well as wiring faults such as reversals, opens, shorts, miswires, and split-pair conditions. Also, a built-in tone generator identifies and traces for individual conductors while a BNC coaxial cable port lets you analyze cable conditions. Another feature is the "learn" mode that determines, verifies, and tests modified wiring configurations, reducing maintenance time.

Seismic-rated rack enclosure
In response to a demand for seismically-rated rack enclosures for seismic and non-seismic installations, DataTel's MRK-4436 gangable rack enclosure system is designed to accommodate hardware equipment and related cable management needs. This 36-inch-deep rack maintains a 22-inch width and provides a number of cable lacing points throughout its interior for what Datatel claims is improved cable management. A rail bracket design allows for adjustable as well as fixed rail mounting positions. When necessary, the design lets you gang multiple enclosures without removing equipment.
