State College, PA -- Oberon announced that it as of May 2011 it has continuously supplied wireless infrastructure components for the Military Health System Cyber-infrastructure Service (MCiS), and its predecessors, for 5 years.
Beginning in 2006, the company began supplying the Military Health System (MHS) with telecommunications enclosures for wireless access points. Oberon’s products are used to provide a standardized installation component for wireless local area networks, which are being deployed across Military Health System hospitals worldwide.
MCiS leads the Military Health System in the global delivery of flexible and efficient cyberinfrastructure services by identifying and implementing proven advances in technology. MCiS evaluates, delivers and manages the network layer and all computing infrastructure support services for the MHS.
