“With expertise in radio frequency (RF) design and project management, these companies are eager to collaborate with our existing structured cabling BusinessPartners to work through solutions for emerging applications in the enterprise," said Stephen Kowal, vice president, Global Channel Sales, CommScope. "By expanding our BusinessPartner ecosystem with new types, we’re able to solve more of our enterprise customers’ needs for wireless infrastructure -- in addition to traditional structured cabling -- and develop mutually beneficial relationships throughout our worldwide BusinessPartner program.”

To ensure successful deployment of its Wired for Wireless and In-building Wireless integrated solutions, CommScope notes that its Solution BusinessPartners must meet a series of established requirements related to addressing indoor wide-area wireless coverage needs, from cellular to public safety. In addition to having a variety of planning and testing tools as well as project management skills, partners are required to employ an RF engineer and technician with sufficient experience in distributed antenna systems (DAS) and products.
