B2M Solutions reaches out to US enterprise mobile, wireless markets

Oct 26, 2010

CHICAGO -- B2M Solutions, a company specializing in "the transformation of the mobile enterprise" based in Oxford, UK, announced the opening of its first US office in Chicago, Illinois. The company has also appointed Karen O’Conner, former channel director at BelAir Networks, as its business development manager based in Dallas, Texas.

Following her role at BelAir, B2M says that Karen O’Conner brings considerable experience to her new post, having worked with channel partners and end user clients across the software and wireless industries. The move has been welcomed by B2M’s largest customers and partners in the US, which include Motorola, IBM and tier one systems integrators.

B2M Solutions is known for its mprodigy mobile enterprise management platform (MEMP), which is deployed globally, with devices being managed in more than 30 countries around the world. The company says its scalable platform adds value through the phases of planning, deployment and operations, through to measuring, analyzing and optimizing of the mobile project lifecycle.

B2M’s says its customers achieve ‘TotalControl’ over their mobile operations and can transform key mobile business processes to deliver improved customer service, costs savings, increased efficiencies and competitive differentiation. On average, clients report a payback on their investment in mprodigy within three to six months, claims the company.

Julie Purves, CEO of B2M Solutions says, “We’re delighted to welcome Karen on board to spearhead our US initiative. We are looking forward to continuing our success in the US market which leads the way in technological innovations with many important mobile initiatives. Our highly competitive pricing, local support, as well as creative and innovative models can open up opportunities to localize new products and services specifically for the US market. We are committed to continuous improvement from a both a product and relationship point of view.”

B2M Solutions aims to build its mpartner community in the US to replicate the one that has been built successfully across Europe. Working with OEMs, solution providers and application developers, B2M says it can add value to mobile deployments by increasing revenues and margins and delivering high value solutions to customers. The company says it offers a Mobile Project Lifecycle and Business Intelligence approach to the management of the mobile enterprise – a deep methodology that delivers a return on investment throughout the mobile lifecycle far beyond its competitor’s narrow focus on mobile device management.

B2M Solutions is a Microsoft Gold Partner. B2M mpartners gain ways to add value to their mobile installations. Partners can deliver initial mobile infrastructure support through to value-added consultancy based on mobile business intelligence and mobile change management. Partners can then position themselves to offer their customers higher value services such as fully managed service or software as a service (SaaS) capabilities.
