The IEEE Communications Society (IEEE ComSoc) has extended its “Call for Technical Session Papers” deadline to June 30th for the 8th Annual IEEE Consumer Communications and Networking Conference (CCNC) to be held January 9 – 12, 2011 at the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada.
ComSoc says the technical sessions at IEEE CCNC 2011 will impart detailed analyses covering a wide technical scope, ranging from cognitive and peer-to-peer networking to designer services and tools used to ensure ease-of-use, security and interactivity among devices and platforms.

Technical paper submissions are being considered from within six technical tracks including:
* Wireless Consumer Communications and Networking
* Smart Spaces and Personal Area Networks
* Multimedia & Entertainment Networking & Services
* Peer-to-Peer Networking & Content Distribution
* Emerging & Innovative Consumer Technologies & Applications
* Security & Content Protection
Held concurrently with the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and hosted by IEEE ComSoc, IEEE CCNC 2011 is organized specifically to aid the consumer electronics industry in developing the numerous wireless and wireline communications technologies that are driving the advance of on-demand access to entertainment and business information everywhere globally, regardless of time or location.

NEW YORK, NY (June 22, 2010) – The 8th Annual IEEE Consumer Communications and Networking Conference (CCNC) to be held January 9 – 12, 2011 at the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada has extended the “Call for Technical Session Papers” deadline to June 30th.
Held concurrently with the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and hosted by the IEEE Communications Society (IEEE ComSoc), IEEE CCNC 2011 was organized specifically to help the consumer electronics industry drive the advance of the numerous wireless and wireline communications technologies that will one day provide on-demand access to entertainment and business information anytime, anywhere, regardless of time or location. This includes detailed analyses of nearly every technical area ranging from cognitive and peer-to-peer networking to the designer services and tools used to ensure ease-of-use, security and interactivity.
All industry professionals interested in presenting unpublished technical session papers at IEEE CCNC 2011 are urged to visit www.ieee-ccnc.org/2011 for conference details and “Call for Paper” guidelines.
