Aug 27, 2008

August 27, 2008 -- CommScope has accredited Wesco Distribution Canada LP as an authorized distributor of the CommScope Enterprise Solutions products throughout Canada.

"We believe the addition of Wesco to CommScope's authorized distribution channel will create new growth for CommScope in the Canadian structured cabling market," comments Robert Kostash, vice president of CommScope Solutions Canada, Inc. "Wesco's strong team of data specialists and their expertise in packaging electrical and structured cabling solutions for their customers were key factors in this agreement."

Under the agreement, Wesco will be qualified to provide both CommScope's SYSTIMAX and Uniprise product portfolios and related products. Wesco will have access to CommScope's expertise in structured cabling, providing customers with a high level of technical support, quality service and reliability.

Wesco Canada's director of supplier relations, Dan Drazilov, remarks, "We are very excited about becoming a fully authorized CommScope distributor. CommScope's high value proposition and strong, committed Canadian presence will give Wesco tremendous incremental growth opportunities. This new partnership will also provide Wesco with the ability to offer a highly accepted and recognized solution for many of our customers across Canada."
