Xirrus achieves ISO 9001:2008 certification

May 15, 2009 -- Wi-Fi networking vendor Xirrus, Inc. announced that it has achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification requirements. The company says the certification demonstrates its commitment to quality for the design, manufacturing, and service of Wi-Fi Arrays for its customers.

"Our focus at Xirrus has always been to deliver the highest quality products and services in the industry," comments Sam Bass, VP of operations at Xirrus. "Being one of the first companies in the world to receive the newly updated ISO 9001:2008 certification shows our dedication to quality and customer satisfaction. We are very proud of all our employees and their commitment to the Xirrus quality management system and to delivering world-class Wi-Fi products to our customers worldwide."

"ISO 9001:2008 is a quality management system that is only awarded to companies who can adequately demonstrate an ability to meet stringent regulations for quality management systems, which is a framework for Xirrus to control its processes in order to achieve objectives including customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement, as means of increasing the confidence of our business partners, customers, and regulators in our Wi-Fi products and services," adds Brian Reynolds, director of auality at Xirrus.

The ISO 9001:2008 is the fourth edition of the standard, which was first published in 1987.
