The Flexshell line of forced encapsulated closures now includes the Mini-Flexshell closure, which accommodates new construction and maintenance repair for 25- to 100-pair telephone cable. Patented "fingers" molded into the shell eliminate the need for wrapping. In addition, the closure is adjusted until it is only slightly larger than the splice bundle, reducing the amount of encapsulant required. The device features a translucent shell that lets installers monitor the level of encapsulant and the wirework inside.
