Standard, deep, and slim enclosure lines

Dec 1, 1998

X-Mark/CDT, a division of Cable Design Technologies, has introduced three lines of enclosures: standard, deep, and slim. Two of the lines--the XL Data Standard and the XL Data Deep--feature versatile field-mounting uprights that adjust between 19 to 23 inches. Optional shelf provisions are available to mount large PCs or servers, stationary or sliding in the standard enclosures, while deep enclosures can be outfitted for uninterruptible power supplies, controllers, and battery backup.

The XL Data Slim measures 24 inches wide by 30 inches deep. Designed to sit directly on a computer room tiled floor, the unit can be outfitted for 19-inch equipment and has a rear cable-plate opening to provide access with removable coverplate and edge grommet. Locking doors and side panels provide additional security.

The XL Data Standard and Slim lines are available in four models in heights of 48, 72, 78, and 84 inches, while the XL Data Deep (see photo) comes in heights of 72, 78, and 84 inches.
