Cable, cord and cable-assembly manufacturer C&M Corporation recently published a white paper entitled Understanding REACH. REACH - Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical substances - initiatives are having an impact on manufacturers worldwide, C&M explains, including the wire and cable industry. "Not everyone is clear on exactly what these initiatives involve, how they will continue to evolve, or what they mean to the manufacturing community in general," the company stated when announcing the paper's availability.
The white paper provides answers to basic questions associated with REACH. It is appropriate, C&M says, for personnel at all levels including those who may have an interest but who are not exposed to REACH on a daily basis.
