Oberon telecom enclosures now available in white

Jun 23, 2010

State College, PA -- Introduced  in October 2009, Oberon's Model 1070-BL telecommunications enclosure locates Ethernet switches, patch panels, wireless controllers, and other networking and A/V components directly in the space where they are needed; the enclosures can be used to shorten home-runs, improve data rate and network capacity, and reduce crowding in the telecommunications room. Now, the product line has been expanded with the introduction of a white Model 1070-WH as a standard color option.

The Oberon Model 1070 is designed for structured cabling and Fiber-to-the-Enclosure (FTTE) deployments and to offer flexibility in housing a variety of networking and A/V components. The 1070 has mounting brackets for up to 2 standard (1U) rack mountable components and back-box openings to mount a patch panel and CCH fiber optic adaptor panel. The enclosure has a highly perforated door to allow airflow for fan-less operation.
