Web seminar examines in-building DAS and the cabling behind it

Nov 2, 2011

A seminar hosted by Cabling Installation & Maintenance and delivered via the web will how and why in-building wireless systems - specifically including distributed antenna systems - are as important to business operations as the utilities electric service, water and telephones.

The seminar will be presented by Gregory Santee, director of business development with CommScope Enterprise. Santee will explain why increasing numbers of user organizations are deploying in-building DAS, and will also discuss the technological needs and business justification for such deployments.

Santee also will cover the different cabling systems that support DAS, and offer guidance on which systems are most appropriate for which environments. That discussion will include the deployment of in-building DAS in existing structures and new construction.

The seminar will be delivered live on Wednesday, November 16 at 1:00 p.m. EST. After that live broadcast it will be available on-demand for a period of six months. Individuals who attend the seminar in its entirety will be eligible to receive 1 continuing education credit for the following BICSI professional designations: RCDD, Installer, Technician, RITP, WD and Certified Trainer.

You can find out more about the seminar here or register for it here.
