Ethernet Alliance to hold end user forum

Feb 1, 2012

On February 16, 2012, The Ethernet Alliance will host a 1-day Technology Exploration Forum (TEF) event especially intended to provide the Ethernet end-user community with an opportunity to voice its needs for Ethernet technology developments in emerging network architectures and applications. Dubbed The End Users Speak!, the goal of the forum is to have attendees' opinions fuel the day's discussions regarding the future direction and evolution of Ethernet, says the industry consortium.

“This latest installment in the Ethernet Alliance’s TEF series is a single-day event bringing together executives, technology designers and architects, integrators, solutions providers, and others to discuss new developments, issues, and challenges impacting the Ethernet ecosystem,” comments Manoj Wadekar, chairperson, Ethernet Alliance TEF, and chief technologist, QLogic Corporation. “The End Users Speak! is designed to allow the end user community to share their experience with Ethernet and their network architecture and application requirements with those individuals in the Ethernet developing community.”
