Amercian Systems (Chantilly, VA) announced that it has been awarded the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Cabling Hardware Installation Purchasing System (CHIPS) contract. The Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract carries a ceiling of approximately $25 million over five years.
Under the terms of the contract, American Systems will provide cabling infrastructure required to complete new offices, relocations or cabling infrastructure changes within an existing network. These services will be provided for the Department of Defense (DOD) and other federal government agencies located in the Northwest/Arctic region of the country.
