Cabling glossary defines frequently used terms

Dec 2, 2010

A glossary of cabling terms available from General Cable defines and puts into context words and phrases that are frequently used to characterize cabling components and systems. The brief, two-page glossary defines terms from alien crosstalk (AXT) to VoIP. It does not include promotional information about General Cable or any of its product offerings, and can serve as an unbiased technical reference guide.

The glossary is available for download as a standalone document from General Cable's website. Separately, the two pages that make up the glossary also reside in the company's datacom product catalog.
