Leviton appoints director of e-Business

Melville, New York -- Leviton announced the appointment of David Keller to the newly-created position of Senior Director of e-Business. In his new role, Keller will lead Leviton’s web-based marketing initiatives. His focus will include expansion of the company’s on-line brand identity through the development of new web strategies, content expansion and compliance of design standards.

Keller arrives at his new post with a formidable background in e-business solutions, including 14-years in information management and business technology. Last year, he was appointed Director of Information Technology for Leviton’s Distribution Sales and Marketing Group, where he spearheaded the delivery of cost-effective technology solutions to support customer-centric sales initiatives.

Previously, as a Director in Leviton’s Information Management department, Keller was a leading architect of the company’s sales forecasting/reporting system. He also worked on other projects to speed financial reporting and sales analysis. In addition to his experience in the electrical industry, Keller was one of three principals of a company that hosted off-the-shelf computing applications for small to mid-sized companies. There he delivered solutions that saved customers technology ownership and support costs. Keller holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Queens College.
