Linxtelecom, an international telecommunications and data center services provider, has selected the ADVA FSP 3000 from ADVA Optical Networking to provide reliable, high-speed connectivity across parts of the carrier’s network. The network delivers transport between data centers separated by international borders and provides local peering with Internet exchanges.
Initial deployments have occurred in Russia and the Baltic countries.
Linxtelecom targets other carriers, Internet service providers (ISPs), network operators, and enterprises. The company provides a range of services including international private lines (IPL), wavelength services, IP transit, MPLS-VPNs, and virtual point of presence (VPoP) services via a network spanning Western Europe, the Nordic countries, Russia, the Baltic States, Poland, Ukraine, and Georgia. Linxtelecom also offers co-location and dedicated server services from its data centers in Tallinn, Estonia, and Moscow, with another data center to be launched soon in St. Petersburg.
