Verizon Wireless taps South Carolina cabling infrastructure firm

Mar 8, 2010

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Network Controls and Electric, a communication network and electrical infrastructure company based in Greenville, South Carolina, has been selected by Verizon Wireless to install cabling infrastructure for new stores in Charleston and Beaufort.

“We are starting work on the lowcountry locations, installing new cabling, network cabinets and extending T1 circuits,” Network Controls CEO Brad Cunningham said. The new Verizon locations are located at 2031 Sam Rittenberg Boulevard in Charleston and 264 Robert Smalls Parkway in Beaufort.

The contract award follows the selection of Network Controls and Electric as the structured cabling provider for Verizon, as that company converted 39 Alltel stores in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia to the Verizon brand.

With its team of certified design specialists and technicians, Network Controls and Electric says it prides itself for attention to detail, on-time implementations and for consistently maintaining or exceeding industry standards. For information, visit www.networkcontrols.com.
