Leviton Fiber Connect joins Cisco Technology Developer Program

Oct 27, 2009

October 27, 2009 -- Leviton Inc., a developer of connectivity products and services for the physical layer of the data center, has joined the Cisco Technology Developer Program as part of the program's Data Center Storage Networking solution category. In addition, Leviton Fiber Connect's high density data center port replicated patch panel series, F8xLx-576, and related interconnect components, have successfully completed interoperability testing with Cisco 3.0.

The Cisco Technology Developer Program unites Cisco with third-party developers of hardware and software to deliver tested interoperable technologies to joint customers. Members of the program are required to undergo interoperability testing based on criteria set forth by Cisco. With the program’s member offerings, customers are able to quickly deploy a range of Cisco-compatible business applications intended to enhance the capabilities, performance, and management of their Cisco networks.

The interoperability testing is designed to simulate typical customer configurations and does not replace the need for on-site testing in conjunction with actual implementation.
