Legrand/Wiremold integrates audio/video into all cabling pathways

Legrand/Wiremold has completed a program to integrate audio/video (A/V) connectivity directly into its major wire and cable pathway products, including perimeter raceways, floor boxes, poke-thru devices, architectural columns, infloor ducts, worksurface modules, and in-wall products.
HDMI-based active optical cable market forecasted to hit $1.17B by 2014

Information Gatekeepers Inc. (IGI) predicts that the HDMI-based Active Optical Cable (AOC) market will grow from $49 million in 2010 to over $1.17 billion by 2014. According to the forecast, during this period, early OEM providers will enjoy excellent average selling prices (ASPs) compared with the cost of building these cables.
Belden acquires Telecast Fiber Systems

Wireworks debuts multi-pin, multi-channel Cat 5e cabling system
