The problem with many, if not most, fiber installations is the raw speed with which companies demand these installations to be performed. In many instances, repairs performed after the initial installation are handled by different people, different companies and/or even different budgets, so in many instances there is no incentive to deliver a quality installation. The author analyzes this scenario and suggests a simple practice which will dramatically improve the quality of fiber installations without delaying the job, which should have a significant multiplier effect on the quality of the network.
