Ideal Industries slashes pricing for network verification testers

Ideal's NaviTEK II cable and network verification tools are now more affordable and accessible to IT professionals.

Today, even the simplest networks require testers to validate, troubleshoot and resolve challenges that slow performance and cause downtime. Unfortunately, the price point of this equipment can oftentimes put it out of reach of the technicians who need it most.

Stepping up to address this need, Ideal Industries, Inc. announced that it has significantly lowered the price of its NaviTEK II cable and network verification testers. Effective immediately, prices for the testers have been reduced by up to 35 percent, now starting at $612 (USD).

Designed especially for frontline technicians, the NaviTEK II makes troubleshooting LAN physical and network layers fast and efficient, with port status testing up to 1 Gb/s. It is billed as the only tester at its price level to include support for IPv6, PoE+, VLANs, and Trace Route capability.

Other features include a 3.5-inch color LCD and an on-screen keyboard to speed data entry of IP addresses and customer information. Engineered for rapid deployment with a minimal learning curve, the NaviTEK II allows users to view and print test results with any web browser, with no special software required.
