Butt-set adjunct

The Data Defender allows technicians to make their existing butt sets data-safe. Technicians can add the adjunct to their sets as easily as they can change cords. The device detects all digital subscriber line protocols, as well as 56-kilobit-per-second, 64-kbit/sec, Integrated Services Digital Network, T1 (1.554-megabit-per-second), and E1 (2.048-Mbit/sec) data transmission. The manufacturer claims the device covers data ranges more extensively than butt sets with built-in data protection.
