The evolution of high-speed networking systems, particularly in the data center, have required corresponding evolution in the network’s physical layer cabling infrastructure as well as the cable-management systems that house and support cabling systems. Ever-increasing connection density means more ports in less space, and consequent requirements for more-capable cable management systems. This Editorial Guide examines the cable management systems being used to support today’s high-speed, high-density structured cabling systems.
