Webcast Description:

Rapid deployment of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), along with digitalization projects, drive the need to place more network equipment at the edge. But protecting that equipment when there's no dedicated architecture space can be a challenge.

This seminar, presented by experts at Chatsworth Products Inc. and hosted by Cabling Installation & Maintenance, describes smart approaches to selecting enclosures and pathways outside the traditional telecommunications equipment room, and also describes the finish designations for environmental enclosures and cable tray systems in a number of applications.

The seminar also covers a wide range of related concerns specific to the edge: thermal management, physical security and cable ingress/egress in remote, unattended environmental enclosures.
