Wireless local area networks are a ubiquitous “last-few-meters” connection method for organizations everywhere. Yet despite the term “wireless,” these systems require sufficient wiring infrastructure behind them. They also require some best practices similar to cabled network connections, such as performance verification. As wireless LAN connection speeds continue to increase, awareness of and adherence to the best current methods of implementation take on increasing importance. This webcast seminar, hosted by Cabling Installation & Maintenance, examines recent technological and standards developments related to wireless LANs.
