Summary
Labeling and Testing are two of the last steps in a cabling installation, but errors in these critical steps can lead to costly rework or long, painful disputes with customers. Being aware of these potential traps allows contractors to plan ahead and avoid them. Fluke and Brother Solutions draw on their extensive experience supporting contractors to identify common problems and suggest ways to prevent them.
We’ll cover labeling issues such as… Inconsistent labeling schemes, difficulty troubleshooting, label degradation and placement issues, and testing issues such as parameters and configurations to be tested, disposition of marginal results, and the value of keeping complete test data.
In this webinar, you will learn:
• Tips to prevent label degradation and placement issues in real-world environments.
• Best practices for selecting and configuring cable tests.
• How to interpret and respond to marginal test results.
• The importance of saving and organizing complete test data for project documentation and customer proof.
• How Fluke and Brother Industrial tools can streamline the final stages of your cabling workflow.
