On November 2, 2022, while remarking about the Infrastructure Talent Pipeline Challenge, The White House stated, “The Fiber Broadband Association and the Wireless Infrastructure Association have entered into a collaborative workforce development agreement to promote registered apprenticeship, develop curriculum, establish industry-recognized credentials and certifications, and articulate career pathways in the broadband industry.” It cited these FBA and WIA efforts as “examples of commitments to expand pre-apprenticeship, registered apprenticeship, and other high-quality training programs.”
