Rexel fills new Installation products position

April 18, 2007 -- Electrical/datacom distributor Rexel announced that its U.S. operation has created a new corporate marketing position responsible for installation initiatives, and has filled it by hiring David Watts.

April 18, 2007 -- Electrical/datacom distributor Rexel announced that its U.S. operation has created a new corporate marketing position responsible for installation initiatives, and has filled it by hiring David Watts.

"David will work closely with our product management team and our preferred suppliers," comments Karl Williams, Rexel's director of product management. "He'll need to position both Rexel's Installation [brand] products and develop premium line strategies."

According to a press release, Watts comes to Rexel after previously working with Wesco International, Do It Best, and Home Depot. He had store-level P&L responsibility at Home Depot.
