Wiremold debuts round floor box for raised floors
December 8, 2008Wiremold/Legrand's FloorSource CRFB Series Floor Box is a round raised floor box designed for ease of installation and flexible configuration for power, data, and audio/visual applications. The box fits into a standard raised floor air diffuser opening, providing simplified access to recessed devices. In addition to raised floor applications, this UL-listed and approved floor box is also approved for use in elevated platforms and stages in lecture halls, houses of worship, theaters, and concert halls.
CRFB Series Floor Boxes have multiple trade size knockouts to feed four separate compartments that accommodate power, communication, and audio visual services. Removable dividers allow boxes to be field-configured or reconfigured to accommodate single services or multiple combinations in one unit. The CRFB Series Floor Box has available GFCI and Decorator style device plates, and accepts a wide range of A/V and communication devices.
This floor box is constructed of die-cast aluminum and is available in either a powder-coated black finish or peened aluminum finish. The cover features egress openings that protect cables when in use. Covers are available in both a solid or cut out version to accept carpet or tile inserts. An optional locking cover provides tamper resistance.
