Greenlee crimper allows in-handle die storage

Jan. 29, 2010
The K210 also allows die change-out without the need for tools.

The K210 is Greenlee's newest crimper, and includes new ease-of-use features for die sets. First, two die sets can be stored in the handles so a user does not have loose die sets in a pocket or toolbox. Second, the dies can be changed without using any tools. Each K210 includes three dies.

"Other companies offer competitive tools, but most of them require tools to change the crimping dies, and none of them have storage on the tool for additional dies," stated Jim Eisele, senior product manager.

According to Greenlee, the K210 includes a precision mechanism that provides for smooth crimping action as well as long-term durability. The deep-cushioned handle grips remain comfortable through many crimping cycles, the company adds.
