The narrow tang connectors are designed for tight fitting electrical applications.

ILSCO (Cincinnati, OH) has expanded the offering of its SureCrimp copper compression connectors to include narrow tang configurations. The narrow tang connectors are designed for tight fitting electrical applications, reducing required mounting plate surface area by approximately 30% -- which can save space on bus bars and may decrease the bus bar enclosure size, resulting in overall material savings.

ILSCO says its narrow tang compression connectors are made from high grade copper, providing a reliable, highly conductive, low heat connection. Seamless copper tubing provides improved connector endurance. Electro-tin plating offers protection against corrosion.

All SureCrimp connectors are die stamped with wire size and die index number as well as part number identifier. Each lug is color-coded with permanent ink stamping for easy identification of proper die number and proper crimp positioning.

The SureCrimp connectors are UL Listed and CSA Certified for AWG and Flex Wire and approved for installation with ILSCO and other popular crimping tools and dies. They are RoHS compliant and meet Made In USA and American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) criteria.
