The 7521 Vandal Proof IP Dome Camera and 6522 IP Bullet Camera from Channel Vision serve a variety of settings including both residential and commercial applications, their manufacturer says. Both are varifocal cameras that offer HD 720P image quality with 2-megapixel CMOS sensors and have the ability to capture images up to 1600x1200 pixels. They also feature H.264 compression, allowing for less bandwidth and storage space while delivering full resolution at maximum frame rate, Channel Vision explains.
The 6521 and 6522 "are capable of sending and receiving data and audio to almost any digital device, including 3G phones," Channel Vision says. "Monitoring is possible anywhere an Internet connection is available on both Apple and Windows platforms."
The 6521 IR Dome is said to offer vandal-proof construction, with an 18-piece built-in LED illuminator providing viewing distances of 45 feet in total darkness. Rotational camera-angle adjustments can be made thanks to the camera's 3-axis bracket that allows customized coverage in multi-camera applications.
Meanwhile the 6522 IP Bullet has a 35-piece LED illuminator, which permits viewing distances of up to 60 feet in total darkness. The bullet design is waterproof and can be used in any indoor or outdoor application, the company says.
Each camera is available at a manufacturer's suggested price of $618.33.
