Phihong's POE16R-1AFG is compatible with AC clips from North America, U.K., continental Europe, Australia and other regions.

The POE16R-1AFG wall-plug midspan Power over Ethernet device from Phihong is 802.3af-compliant with an output of 15.4W at 56V DC. The plug also uses R-series field-interchangeable AC clips.

Keith Hopwood, vice president of marketing for Phihong USA, said, "This new midspan combines the benefits of using Gigabit Base-T data rates with the portability of the market's smallest PoE wall plug. Users can install and re-install their devices quickly and at their own convenience using the wall-plug design, eliminating the need for AC cables."

Phihong pointed out that the plug includes all the safety features of IEEE 802.3af, including detection, disconnect and voltage control. It is also designed to be used with Phihong's R-series interchangeable AC clips, which are available for North America, United Kingdom, continental Europe, Australia, Brazil, China, Korea and Argentina.
