Eaton to incorporate Stulz-ATS's data center cooling technology

Stulz-ATS and Eaton recently announced a new U.S. strategic partnership.

Stulz Air Technology Systems, Inc. (Stulz-ATS) and Eaton Corporation have formed a new U.S. strategic partnership, combining Stulz’s line of data center cooling technologies with Eaton’s portfolio of energy-efficient data center containment systems.

Announced during the recent AFCOM conference in Las Vegas, the partnership will allow data center owners to specify Stulz's in-row and perimeter cooling technology from its Mission Energy Products series for integration with Eaton’s data center rack, power, cooling, and monitoring systems.

“Partnering with Stulz enables Eaton to offer its customers pre-engineered, integrated solutions addressing data center operators’ most pressing power and cooling issues,” comments Ed Komoski, president of Power Quality Operations at Eaton. “Eaton’s enclosure, containment, and power management systems paired with in-row and perimeter cooling solutions from Stulz can power efficiency gains and reduce operating expenses in even the most challenging data center environments.”

The partnership also gives data center owners access to both companies' portfolios of products and services for managing thermal requirements of networked IT equipment. “The combination of Stulz's mission-critical energy products and Eaton’s customizable data center containment systems provides an efficient, economical, and intelligent cooling system for any data center,” concludes Oliver Stulz, president of Stulz.
