Stadium Wi-Fi tackled in white paper

June 19, 2012
Technical white paper from BelAir Networks.

A recent white paper from BelAir Networks investigates the challenges in designing and deploying Wi-Fi wireless networks for high capacity, high interference venues such as outdoor stadiums for sporting events. The design approach outlined in the paper illustrates how 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi access networks can be constructed that also incorporate the ability to deliver concurrent 5 GHz Wi-Fi access. This method provides additional headroom for growth, as smartphones and tablets increasingly provide support for the 5 GHz band, contends BelAir.
