Slim profile wall-mount network enclosure

July 24, 2012
New wall-mount network cabinet from Bud Industries offers compact storage of 19" rack-mount equipment.

Bud Industries (Cleveland, OH), a manufacturer of network equipment enclosures and cabinet racks, has introduced a new wall-mount network cabinet with a narrow profile and a variety of value-added features for EIA 310D-compliant storage of 19" rack-mount equipment.

According to the company, priced lower than many similar racks, this wall mount cabinet has a space-saving design that is ideal for housing network equipment such as patch panels and other small electronics in areas having limited space. The new enclosure is available in two sizes: 23” high x 6” deep or 23” high x 12” deep. This rack is designed for security, functionality, and fast installation, says Bud Industries.

Constructed of durable 16 gauge steel, the sturdy cabinet rack has a tempered glass front door that enables technicians to observe indicator lights without opening the cabinet. The door can be hinged left or right, depending on the needs of the installation, and includes a key lock that protects equipment from tampering and ventilation slots that help keep equipment cool.

To simplify cable installation, this network cabinet also features a readily removable gland plate in the top and bottom. The cabinet is furnished completely assembled and has four mounting slots on the back for rapid wall mounting. Like most of Bud’s inventory, the wall-mount network cabinet is in stock and ready for same-day shipment. Custom sizes, finishes and modifications are available upon request.
