IMS Research launches Security Market Intelligence website

New website will act as a dedicated resource for IMS's press releases, blogs and security and fire research reports, which cover a combined market of more than $75 billion.

IMS Research has launched a new website for its security market research business, dubbed Security Market Intelligence. IMS cites itself as the leading provider of market research to the physical security industry; the new website will act as a dedicated resource for its press releases, blogs and security and fire research reports, which cover a combined market of more than $75 billion.

“[Our] mission is to translate the value of information, expertise and knowledge to enable the success of its customers,” said Paul Everett, senior manager at IMS Research. “This website is an important step in realizing our mission by providing customers with a resource where knowledge can be accessed more easily, enabling business decisions to be made more informatively. “

According to IMS, core to the design of the new website is the ability to search for relevant reports by area of interest and job role. Content can be searched by equipment or service type, such as access control, video surveillance or security services. Security professionals are also able to search by their business function, gaining access to the latest technology focused reports at the click of a mouse.
