TE Connectivity ramps on wireless infrastructure

Sept. 27, 2012
TE Connectivity will present products and educational programs at the upcoming PCIA Wireless Infrastructure and DAS in Action shows in Orlando, FL.

The wireless business unit of TE Connectivity (TE) announced that it will bring a full slate of speakers, new products, and educational sessions to the PCIA Wireless Infrastructure Show (Oct. 2-4) and the DAS in Action conference (Oct. 1-4), both in Orlando, Florida. TE will host a booth on the exhibition floor at each show, showcasing new wireless infrastructure products, and will provide speakers to participate in panels and workshops during the events.

TE’s activities at the shows will include the following:

-- TE will showcase new products at its booth in the Small Cell Pavilion at the Wireless Infrastructure Show. These products include new higher power remote amplifier units (RAUs) for TE’s InterReach Spectrum and InterReach Fusion in-building DAS systems, delivering six times the power output of standard RAUs, according to the company, and new high-density modules for TE’s FlexWave Prism system that double its output power or the number of bands a particular Prism system can serve.

-- CTO Dr. Ken Stewart of TE Wireless will participate on the LTE and DAS panel at DAS in Action, a special event to be held on Monday, October 1.

-- Director of Product Management of TE Wireless Tony Lefebvre will participate on the panel, HetNet & the Bandwidth Challenge: Perceptions of Mobile Network Quality (Lunch Session) on Tuesday, October 2 at 12:00 PM.

-- TE will host a three-day intensive RF design training certification course, Indoor Radio Planning, on-site at the Wireless Infrastructure Show, October 2-4. Participants will learn how to design an indoor DAS in a class taught by course textbook author Morten Tolstrup. Registration for this exclusive training event includes admission to the Wireless Infrastructure Show general sessions and the Exhibit Hall.
