Vicon appoints new Eastern Region sales director

Dave Charles will assume responsibility for management of Vicon’s sales team serving the eastern half of the U.S. and Canada.

Vicon Industries, a provider of network video management systems, announced the appointment of Dave Charles as the company's Director of Sales, Eastern Region. In this role, Charles will assume responsibility for management of Vicon’s sales team serving the eastern half of the U.S. and Canada.

Most recently, Charles served as Vice President, Business Development for Lenel Systems International within that company's UTC Climate, Controls and Security division, where he managed the new account acquisition strategy in global and key accounts growth programs. He was also responsible for all of the company's federal government sales and its consultant and AEC program. Charles has also held management positions within the dealer channel, including several years at Stanley Security.

When not traveling within his new territory for Vicon, Dave will work from his office in Eastern Pennsylvania. He reports to Bret McGowan, Vicon's senior VP of sales and marketing. “Dave’s proven leadership and vision have led to an impressive record of delivering organizational sales growth,” commented McGowan. “We look forward to putting those qualities to work for Vicon.”
