FOA counterfeit cabling lecture targets flammability

A new video lecture from the Fiber Optic Association (FOA) recounts how counterfeit "Category" cabling has been sold in the U.S. and elsewhere around the world, and what serious problems have occured from the use of these bogus premises cables; in particular, regarding electrical performance and safety issues associated with flammability of cheap plastic insulation. The video analyzes the current situation with counterfeit cabling and offers tips on how to identify it. A burn test is also conducted in the video.
