GAO Instruments (Toronto) has released its model A0070002 radio frequency (RF) spectrum analyzer. According to the company, the analyzer is especially designed to install, test, troubleshoot, analyze and optimize wireless networks in telecommunications, broadcasting, CATV and EMC testing fields and other indoor and outdoor applications. The model A0070002 RF spectrum analyzer features a small size and light weight, and uses locked-phase local and all-digitized medium frequency processing technologies. All RBW/VBW filters and medium frequency/video detectors are digital. The tool operates over a wide frequency range of 9 kHz to 3 GHz. The analyzer provides a resolution bandwidth of 100 Hz to 1 MHz at an accuracy of ± 25% (1 MHz) or ± 10% (<1 MHz). The model A0070002 analyzer conforms to the third-level equipment standard in GJB3947–2000. Its internal non–volatile memory can store 200 groups of measurement data, which can be downloaded via its RS232 interface. It is equipped with a 6-inch VGA TFT color LCD screen providing clear signal detail. In addition, its large capacity rechargeable lithium battery ensures an operating time of up to 4 hours.
