Jack Caveney Sr., founder of Panduit, recently passed away. A statement issued by Panduit’s chairman and chief executive officer John Caveney said, “Jack fought a long, courageous battle with cancer over the past 15 years. During this time he showed the same fortitude, courage and perseverance that he displayed in the execution of his life’s work—building a world-class company. Jack will be missed by many.”
The statement also said that Panduit will continue to operate as a private, family-owned and -controlled business, adding that senior executives will remain in their current roles: John Caveney as chairman and CEO; Tom Donovan as president; Jerry Caveney as chief legal counsel; and Andrew Caveney as senior vice president of marketing.
It also lauded the fact that Jack Caveney Sr. “took steps to ensure the future stability and strength of Panduit” and thanked everyone for support during this time of sadness.
