Indestructible Wi-Fi networks?

April 19, 2013
Aruba Networks white paper investigates.

A new white paper from Aruba Networks explains how a number of developments in Wi-Fi for enterprise users have reached the stage where, with a small number of additional features, the technology is able to profoundly improve conditions where outdoor and industrial communications have increasingly stressed communications infrastructure designs.

The paper, entitled The Indestructible Network: Wireless LANs for Industrial and Outdoor Applications, illustrates how Wi-Fi mesh technology combined with advancements in outdoor access point designs can "consolidate, simplify, and flatten the traditional patchwork and overlay of disparate communications networks."
