The revised TSB-177-A standard adds logos which may be offered for use with products that meet the performance requirements established in the ANSI/TIA-4953 (Amplified Telephone Measurement Procedures and Performance Requirements) standard, published by TIA in August 2012.

TSB-177-A was formulated under the cognizance of the TIA TR-41 User Premises Telecommunications Requirements, TR-41.3 Analog and Digital Wireline Terminals.
